I recently just moved to Canada from NZ, to give acting a shot over here. Learning the American accent is something that terrifies me. As someone with dyslexia speaking in your native accent can be hard enough let alone learning a whole new way of speaking. I tried a few short classes here and there but nothing seemed to be clicking. I saw the amazing Miranda Harcourt’s post on FB advertising Sarah’s 10 day accent online course. Miranda Harcourt is saying do it? Well then, count me in, SOLD! This course over 10 days has changed everything! Sarah’s way of explaining the accent, her examples and her tasks are all genius and they are fun. She works your voice box, your brain and your mouth. I can now say that I have a greater understanding of how the accent sounds and feels, as well as gaining confidence to keep going with it. Sarah Valentine is highly recommended by me (and Miranda!)
