1 Hour Accent Coaching

60 minute 1-to-1 Accent Coaching session of an accent of your choice. You can either send me a script you are working on or I can send material for you to learn.
ACCENTS:
USA: Standard American, Southern American, New York, New Jersey.
EUROPE: German English, French English, Russian English, Spanish English, Dutch English, Eastern European.
BRITISH: Standard British, Welsh, Northern Irish, Southern Irish, Geordie, Liverpool (Scouse), Brummie, Cockney, Somerset, Devonshire, West Country, Essex, Manchester, Yorkshire, Cockney,
WORLD: South African, Jamaican.
The session is broken down into 3 sections:
- If I have time I will record your practise sentences or the audition script before our session so that you have a clean copy of the words you need to say in the accent and you can practise them before the session and then we just use the time to fine tune in the session (I deduct the time it takes me to record your lines from the session). I will do it afterwards if we don’t have time to record before the session.
- We create a spark (the trigger to get you into the accent (approx 15 minutes) depending on wether you want this or not.
- We work on a piece of dialogue/audition/script/accent reduction sentences you have to work on (approx 30 minutes)
This can change depending on what you need from me regarding learning an accent. I’m very flexible and can work around you so that you get exactly what you need.
There’s nothing like a last minute job offer that includes an accent…when you’re not prolific with accents. Luckily I found Sarah on IG, drawn in by her enthusiasm and rapid fire accents. She did not disappoint. Not only does she have a great technique for getting you into an accent quickly, you can tell she is invested in you doing a good job. Looking forward to working with Sarah again on the next accent.
I can testify to the effort Sarah put into helping me in the course. I was about to give up on the course due to hearing difficulties, but Sarah decided to provide a way to help me overcome my challenges. I am better off now and feel good about what I’ve learned from her class. A good teacher is someone who won’t give up on you.
